We are so fortunate to have the extraordinary people at Mendonoma Health Alliance
here in our community! The support and guidance I have received from my caseworker,
Amanda, has made an amazing difference in my wellbeing. Along with helping me fill out
confusing forms and applications on the computer, Amanda has also been able to help me with
other resources that are available through MHA.
Due to my health issues, she was able to find funds available to reimburse mileage for my
doctor appointment in Petaluma, apply for a ride service for future appointments, and she also
helped me to apply for a food assistance program while I was recovering from medical issues.
The food was delivered to my home and I was able to speak with a dietician at the program
who made sure that the food they planned for me was within my dietary requirements. This
helped me immensely and I am so grateful this service is available. The support and caring I
have received from all of the dedicated people at MHA has helped me to move through difficult
circumstances, and given me a more hopeful and positive outlook for the future.
