Micheline White has lived and worked in the Mendonoma service area for 17 years and brings both deep personal connection and professional expertise to her work. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Sonoma State University.

Since joining Mendonoma Health Alliance (MHA) in December 2017, Micheline has led a period of significant growth and innovation. Under her leadership, MHA has expanded services to include peer recovery support, health care and resource navigation services, free health screenings, health literacy and outreach initiatives, and most recently, the launch of a first-of-its-kind mobile primary care clinic. She has also built organizational capacity by expanding the staff from 7 to 20 team members and fostering a workplace culture centered on collaboration, professional development, and open communication.

A highly successful grant writer, Micheline has secured and managed more than $10 million in funding through seven federal grant projects and several other opportunities—greatly increasing resources available to the community. She has more than thirteen years of executive-level experience in strategic planning, program development, fiscal management, and workforce retention, as well as cultivating lasting partnerships and facilitating collaboration across diverse stakeholders.

Before joining MHA, Micheline served as Executive Director of Coastal Seniors for over five years, where she secured more than $1 million in grant funding, grew donor giving by over 40%, and significantly expanded programs and services for local seniors.

Micheline’s passion for health equity and community wellness is deeply personal. Having grown up in a chaotic environment—experiencing homelessness, child protective services involvement, and family struggles with substance use disorder—she brings lived experience that fuels her commitment to reducing health disparities and supporting the most vulnerable members of her community.

In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Micheline holds certifications as a Master Trainer for A Matter of Balance (fall prevention), Pre-Diabetes Lifestyle Coach, and HIV/HCV Basic Counselor. She has also completed training in QPR and ASIST suicide interventions, addiction and mental health coursework through Stanford University, University of Cincinnati, and Health Management Associates, and health screening competencies alongside her staff.
