I’m grateful to be stepping into the world of public health as a Community Health Worker. My passion for helping others is deeply rooted in my own life experiences.
Growing up in the Mendocino and Sonoma area, I witnessed both the challenges of living in low-resourced communities and the strength that arises from within them. I saw firsthand how struggles with health, housing, and finances affect families every day. These experiences shaped my understanding of community needs and instilled a strong work ethic early on. Whether I was taking on handyman jobs or simply offering a helping hand, I learned that doing what’s right matters most.
After graduating from Point Arena High School, I attended Santa Rosa Junior College, where I focused not only on my education but also on rebuilding my mental and emotional well-being. That personal journey brought me clarity: my heart has always been with the people, and my greatest joy comes from serving others—a calling that’s deeply connected to my faith.
Today, I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and giving back to the community that raised me. My goal is to listen, support, and serve as a hopeful bridge—especially for the Latino community—for those who need someone to stand with them on their journey toward better health and overall well-being.
