Community Outreach
Description
Staying connected to the community and understanding the needs of all demographics is a priority for our organization. To do so, Mendonoma Health Alliance launches assessments and surveys throughout the year to gather insight about the needs, perspectives and experiences of local individuals and families. All surveys are provided in English and Spanish and are offered online or in print and distributed throughout the Service Area. Results from the assessments and surveys are used to plan for new services or expand existing services to meet current needs.
Mendonoma Health’s staff and Board of Directors work to fill gaps in resources through collaborative partnerships with local and county-wide agencies to establish, build and maintain long-term partnerships that will benefit Mendonoma residents.
One of Mendonoma Health Alliance’s key roles is to convene existing resources to generate a broader awareness of what is available. To achieve this goal, Mendonoma Health hosts regular events, such as the annual All Schools Health Fair that brings together dozens of health, safety and emergency organizations in an effort to provide our youth, teachers and parents with educational materials and connections to local resources. Other outreach efforts include presentations to service organizations and public events, like speaker’s panels for youth and drug take-back events.

Emergency Response & How To Get Involved

Juntos podemos ayudar a nuestra comunidad a sobrevivir.
